22 years ago Matt Terry put away a Twinkie, to see how long it would survive. Little did he know it had a destiny to help The Historic Everett Theater, a community treasure he is now dedicated to preserving.
Hollywood will not be providing movies on film anymore. That means that just to show the classics like "It's a Wonderful Life" theaters have to upgrade to digital systems. Learn more about this fundraiser at out Kickstarter page.

We are not kidding, this is a 22 Year Old (almost 23 year old) Twinkie. Sealed... its not spongy anymore.. but it still looks like a Twinkie! And now that Hostess is gone, and future Twinkies if they come back, will be different. This is clearly a collectors item.

eBay Listting for 22 Year Old Twinkie - Item #300829164855
eBay mistakenly ended the item at this old ID and we lost our opening bids
But now the Twinkie is BACK!!!!!
How can YOU HELP if you don't want (or win) the 22 Year Old Twinkie?
The best way is to pledge to the fundraiser on Kickstarter.com. For the theater to activate all the pledges, the $100,000 goal has to be reached by Jan 18th. You can donate as little as a $1 upto $10,000. Most of the donation levels also offer some great premiums. So every dollar pledged helps and your credit card is not billed until the goal is reached.
Donate some of your Ebay sales. The Everett Theater Group is now an approved charity on Ebay. When you sell on Ebay.. you can apply some of your proceeds to the theater.

It's A Wonderful Twinkie
One of the favorite events at The Historic Everett Theater is the annual visit by Ms. Karolyn Grimes, the actress who played young Zuzu in the Christmas favorite "Its a Wonderful Life." Ms. Grimes was gracious enough to take a photo with the 22 year-old Twinkie. Donations via Kickstarter and the coming Twinkie auction will help this event continue.
Twinkie - Rings Her Belle
Twink wanted to be a radio star, but alas the silent charm of a Twinkie is not good radio. So Matt filled in for the cream filled treat in this interview with KIRO 97.3 FM's Rachel Belle. Rachel produces the popular "Ring My Belle" segments during Ron & Don's Drive-time show and has a weekend show of her own sharing the same title.
You can hear about Matt, The Historic Everett Theater and the Twinkie this Monday (Dec 10th) duing "Ring My Belle" on the "The Ron & Don Show" weekdays 3-7pm.
As we can see, Twink has charmed another lovely local with that ever present silent charm.
